To
optimize the training of your staff and provide a location for research of
explosives and new techniques,
Terra Dinamica
has opened and is operating a hands-on training and research center.
The Centre provides a location where classroom instruction can be combined with field instruction. The Centre is located in the metropolitan environment of Colchester, Vermont USA.
By utilizing a working mine, construction blasting techniques and mining and quarry blasting techniques can be used to enhance the skills of your staff.
The Centre is a research facility for explosive products, drilling products, and other accessories and technical products used in blasting. Research can be carried out on a confidential basis. All of the equipment necessary for the examination and research of your products is available.
A test house is in the plans for construction in late 2004 or 2004. Since no real research has been completed lately on the effects of blast induced structural damage, this test facility will be unique since the instrumentation will be incorporated in the structure.
